For the latest installment of our Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) 50th Anniversary Video Series, we spoke with Council Member Chad Seidel and the Executive Director of the Association of State Drinking Water Administrators Alan Roberson. Seidel and Roberson discuss how the SDWA ushered in necessary improvements to drinking water quality including enforceable standards. And they urge greater vigilance finding a balance between identifying and regulating new contaminants with maintaining what we have already achieved.
